STONEWORKS INSTRUCTORS

Cheley Frazier seated in meditation outdoors on the grass, holding a singing bowl during a sound healing practice at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center.

Cheley Frazier

Lead Instructor

Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT), Sound Healing Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, Ceremonialist

Cheley’s relationship with yoga and healing practices began in the 1990s and became a steady part of her life and teaching journey in 2012. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every body has a story and that our practices can create space to listen, reconnect, and move through life with greater awareness and ease.

Her teaching blends yoga, mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, Reiki, and ceremony, creating experiences that support the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. With a trauma-informed and sensory-sensitive approach, Cheley encourages students to meet themselves exactly where they are, honoring individual bodies, abilities, energy, and needs rather than striving for perfection.

Whether she is guiding a gentle yoga practice, exploring movement and strength, or offering an immersive sound experience, her intention is to create a welcoming space where people feel seen, supported, and free to explore their own practice.

At Stoneworks, Cheley believes deeply in the power of community and in creating opportunities for people to move, rest, connect, and simply be.

Cypris Gregorio, yoga instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Cypris Gregorio

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)

Cypris began her yoga journey more than a decade ago, after the birth of her son, as a way to become healthier, stronger, and create something meaningful for herself. Her first in-person yoga class, taken in the Catskill Mountains where she grew up, became a transformative experience. She left feeling grounded, calm, and rejuvenated—and yoga became a lasting part of her life.

After relocating to Champlain, New York, Cypris continued her personal practice and eventually found her way to classes with Donna Guade at the Champlain Meeting House in 2017. Wanting to deepen both her knowledge and practice, she began her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaRenew in 2025, completing her training in Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga that December.

Along the way, Cypris has continued immersing herself in the yoga community, including volunteering at the Catskill Mountain Yoga Festival and attending yoga retreats and community experiences.

As a teacher, Cypris hopes to create a welcoming space where students can feel connected, balanced, and supported. She believes yoga is much more than stretching—it is a practice that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit—and she brings that philosophy, along with plenty of love and light, to the Stoneworks community.

Donna Gadue, yoga instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Donna Gadue

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) | Kundalini Yoga Instructor | Serenity Waves Aqua Yoga Instructor

Donna began her yoga journey in 2010 after a co-worker invited her to a community class at Plattsburgh State University. What began as an appreciation for the physical practice soon grew into a deeper connection between mind, body, and spirit.

In 2014, Donna discovered Kundalini Yoga and found a practice that deeply resonated with her. Drawn especially to mantra, meditation, breathwork, and the devotional aspects of yoga, she appreciates Kundalini as an accessible practice that invites greater awareness and connection.

Donna has been teaching yoga since 2017. Her training includes both 200-hour and 300-hour certifications with Ravi Singh, as well as a year-long Compassionate Kundalini teacher training. She has also studied with Ramdesh Kaur, author of The Body Temple.

Donna’s passion is creating welcoming experiences that encourage students to connect with their own inner truth, awareness, and sense of love and light. She believes yoga can meet each person exactly where they are and loves sharing practices that nurture connection and community.

Outside of yoga, Donna enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and going on “yoga adventures” with her yoga community.

Heather Gottlob, pilates instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Heather Gottlob

Pilates Instructor | Fitness & Wellness Coach

Heather has been an active part of the Plattsburgh fitness and wellness community for more than 20 years. Throughout her career, she has taught a variety of movement practices, including yoga, strength training, full-body core work, and her personal favorite, Pilates.

Alongside her work in wellness, Heather is a longtime high school English teacher and mother. Whether she is in the fitness studio, classroom, or at home, she strives to create an environment where people feel safe, supported, and encouraged to find their voice and work toward becoming the best version of themselves.

Heather’s approach extends beyond physical movement. She is passionate about the role that habits, routines, and mindset can play in overall well-being and has been invited to share these ideas as a guest speaker with groups throughout the area.

At the heart of Heather’s teaching is encouragement, connection, and gratitude. She believes gratitude is “the secret to a fulfilling life” and brings that philosophy into the welcoming, motivating space she creates for her students at Stoneworks.

Jody Passino

Aqua Fitness Instructor

Jody’s journey at Stoneworks began as a participant, attending Lisa’s classes and experiencing firsthand the benefits of movement, fitness, and community. As she continued coming to class, her own interest in fitness grew, eventually inspiring her to take the next step from participant to instructor.

What began with simply showing up for class developed into a passion for helping others experience the same benefits she discovered through her own practice. Jody has been teaching ever since, bringing an encouraging and approachable energy to the warm-water pool at Stoneworks.

Today, Jody teaches Aqua Fit and Aqua Body Sculpting, using the natural support and resistance of the water to help participants build strength, improve balance and mobility, and increase overall fitness in a lower-impact environment.

Jody understands what it feels like to begin on the participant side of a class, and that experience helps shape the welcoming environment she creates as an instructor. Her story is a wonderful example of how finding a movement practice you enjoy can grow into something even greater—a desire to share it with others.

Lilia Wills, yoga instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Lilia Wills

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) | Yoga Instructor

Lilia is a Yoga Alliance® Registered Yoga Teacher, a graduate of Lotus Gardens Yoga School, and a lifelong student of yoga. Passionate about making yoga accessible, she brings an inclusive and supportive approach to her teaching, meeting students wherever they are in their practice.

Her teaching ranges from energizing Vinyasa and Power Flow practices to gentle, beginner-friendly yoga, children’s yoga, and therapeutic approaches for individuals with specific needs. Her experience includes working with prenatal students, individuals living with arthritis, and those seeking mindful movement to support their overall well-being.

Lilia believes yoga extends far beyond the physical postures. Through movement, breath, and presence, she encourages students to explore strength, flexibility, balance, confidence, resilience, and a deeper connection with themselves.

Outside the studio, Lilia is a proud mom, educator, and lifelong learner. She holds a master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and is fluent in several languages. She enjoys running, stand-up paddleboarding, hiking, traveling, cooking, reading, entertaining family and friends, and spending time with her daughter.

Whether someone is stepping onto the mat for the first time or deepening an established practice, Lilia strives to create a welcoming space to move, breathe, explore, and reconnect

Lisa Newton, instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Lisa Newton

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) | Breathwork Practitioner | Fitness Instructor

Lisa has a lifelong passion for physical and emotional well-being and a deep commitment to helping others live healthier, more active lives. Her journey as a fitness instructor began years ago, teaching classes at Clinton Community College and the YMCA. Although the demands of her professional career eventually pulled her away from teaching, movement and personal wellness remained an important part of her life.

Following retirement, Lisa returned to her passion for teaching and continued her education, completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training and becoming certified in breathwork. Today, she combines her experience in fitness, yoga, and breathwork to create approachable classes that support strength, mobility, balance, and functional movement. She is especially passionate about helping older adults maintain the strength and confidence needed for everyday life.

A lifelong North Country resident, Lisa holds advanced degrees in Clinical Counseling and spent more than 20 years with the Social Security Administration, including serving as District Manager of the Plattsburgh office. She has also taught as an adjunct instructor at Plattsburgh State University and Clinton Community College and served with numerous community organizations.

At Stoneworks, Lisa brings together her love of teaching, wellness, and service to help others move, breathe, and feel their best.

Meredith Jacobs, yoga instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Meredith Jacobs

Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) | Kundalini Yoga Instructor | Serenity Waves Aqua Yoga Instructor

Meredith’s yoga journey has unfolded over more than 20 years. As a larger-bodied person, she explored many forms of yoga but often felt that traditional yoga spaces were not designed to welcome or support her body.

After an injury resulted in a loss of movement, Meredith attended a Kundalini Yoga class with a friend—and her relationship with yoga changed. She discovered a practice that gave her permission to adapt movement to her own body and have a deeply personal experience. Through Kundalini Yoga, Meredith found greater movement and flexibility while also discovering practices that helped quiet her mind and encouraged her to turn inward.

Within just a few classes, Meredith knew she wanted to someday share these teachings with others. In 2020, she completed her 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Ravi Singh and began her teaching journey online during the pandemic.

Meredith brings her lived experience into her teaching, creating an inclusive environment where students are encouraged to honor their individual bodies and needs. She believes yoga belongs to every body and that each person should feel welcomed and empowered to make the practice their own.

At Stoneworks, Meredith brings this philosophy to both the mat and the warm-water pool through Serenity Waves Aqua Yoga, creating supportive spaces for movement, self-discovery, and connection.

Phung Pham, yoga instructor at Stoneworks Spa & Wellness Center in Plattsburgh, NY.

Phung Pham

BUTI Movement & BUTI Deep Instructor

Phung has been a student of yoga for nearly 20 years, beginning with Vinyasa and later exploring Hot Yoga. For many years, however, she never imagined becoming a yoga teacher herself because she felt she didn’t have the “right” body for it.

That perspective shifted in 2024 when Phung met her BUTI teacher, Jess, who embodied a philosophy that deeply resonated with her: yoga is for every body. Yoga is not defined by size, shape, age, or flexibility, but by connecting with our bodies, discovering what we are capable of, and creating space for greater peace and self-expression.

Inspired by both her teacher and the BUTI practice, Phung decided to step into her own power and begin teaching. In 2025, she earned certifications in both BUTI Movement and BUTI Deep.

Phung brings energy, expression, and a sense of fun to her classes while creating an environment where students are encouraged to show up as they are. Through movement, strength, and connection, she hopes to help students explore their physical, mental, and spiritual capabilities while supporting their individual wellness journeys.

At Stoneworks, Phung invites students to move freely, have fun, build strength, and celebrate what their bodies can do.
