Ideal for beginners, those returning after experiencing injury and those age 50 and beyond. This practice was created to add healing and toning qualities of yoga to your life. We start with guided warm up stretches and move into simple sitting and standing poses to loosen the joints, promote good posture and balance. Breathing exercises and relaxation promotes calmness between poses and at the conclusion of practice. Students are helped according to their needs. The class ends with a longer relaxation with alchemy crystal singing bowls to assist with relaxation and healing.

This deeply nourishing 75-minute class is an invitation to slow down, soften, and restore. Through gentle yin and restorative postures, we’ll hold shapes for longer periods of time, allowing the body to release tension from the connective tissues while calming the nervous system. Props are used generously to support comfort, ease, and deep rest.

As the body settles, sound healing is woven throughout the practice and offered during an extended Savasana. The vibrational tones support energetic balance, emotional release, and integration—guiding you into a state of deep relaxation and presence.

BUTI

Buti is a Marathi word meaning “a cure that has been hidden or kept secret.” Buti is not all about booty, but we will tone, lift and generally elevate all aspects of the physical and energetic bodies. During this practice, we work to cure the body of stored energy through dance and tribal movement. The practice has a specific spiral technique to unlock tension and stored emotions. Buti combines power yoga, cardio-intensive tribal movement, conditioning, and deep abdominal toning. You are not just sculpting your body, you are making internal shifts too.
